This style of photography is one I adore but do not offer on a regular basis to my clients. As I was processing Baby M though, I found myself leaning more and more towards a light and airy look for the traditional blanket pose. His mama will get both this version and a classic version with her package so she gets the both of best worlds! You can see more from their session here.

Baby M (Part 1)
Baby M was a such a peaceful bundle of smell good baby joy in my little studio last week! I adore his sleepy face and cute lil baby expressions, especially the peek-a-boo sequence below. His parents are so blessed with their newest addition and his big brother is just in love with him too. I am going to post a second part to his session this week so stay tuned to see a twist on my classic editing style. I wanna hear your thoughts on it!

Suzette & Connice
Suzette and Connice are so blessed to have met one another, to have fallen in love, and to have one another to laugh with for the rest of their lives. The pictures below are a testimony to their spirit when with one another: full of love, laughter, and friendship. Despite the FREEZING COLD WIND both Suzette and Connice had a smile glowing from ear to ear, laughter that dominated the session, and when the shivering became too much they would sing gospel songs to help warm up our bodies as well as our souls. Needless to say, I am excitedly waiting to photograph their wedding in August and looking forward to meeting all of the family and friends who are travelling near and far to celebrate their love and commitment.

Baby Ward
Eddie and I have been so blessed to meet so many wonderful families within the baseball community, especially the Wards. The Ward family reminds me of my own family: outgoing, talkative, rambunctious, and maybe a little, just a little, bit loud. They are also the first family Eddie and I met in the travel ball community and they welcomed us in for lunch the first day and we have been friends ever since.
Words cannot explain the grin that was stretched across Dustin's face when he told me Stacie was pregnant. I am not quite sure I have ever seen a daddy so proud and elated at growing an already large family by one more. It is pretty awesome to watch the family with little Tater because they all gather around like a team working together to take care of him, cheering on Stacie with all her accomplishments as a new mama, while laughing and poking fun at one another through it all. Tater is the luckiest baby in the world because he is surrounded by so many people who love and care for him!
I feel the need to point out that Tater is the family nickname for him. Another baseball mom, Lee Ann, and I prefer Pablo but were outvoted. He will forever be Baby Pablo in our hearts though!
Here is that famous Ward grin!
"MOM. What.are.you.doing. Fur? Really?!" He was giving me the good ole Ward stare down and did NOT think this was cute.
It took three of us to finally get him to sleep...and he only snoozed for 5 minutes. Who knew the baby who always sleeps would not sleep for me or the baby whisperer? Haha!
