Jenny & Stephanie's 30th Birthday Party! 80's Style!

Jenny and Steph celebrated the best 80's themed birthday EVER for their 30th! The turnout was ah-mazing and everyone ROCKED it with big hair, bright colors, funky clothes, and fabulous make-up! The music was loud and the dancing was outrageous. The whole room was lit up with red and orange lights with a bar set up smack dab in the middle of the room. On two tables there was every toy, candy, game, movie, doll, and book you can remember from the 80's and the slideshow highlighting Jenny and Steph was hilarious! I know both girls were overwhelmed with love and friendship from alllllll the people who showed up to celebrate their 30th birthday!

This was the first time I have photographed a mama with twins and I was so in awe of Fran because she was so full of energy and so beautiful! Matt was awesome and just lit up talking about Fran and the twins. Oh, and it has to be said...I am so impressed with their home and all of the renovations being done before the babies come along. I know exactly what it is like to embark upon a huge project during pregnancy and applaud all that they are doing. It is going to look fantastic when it is completed. I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek in the nursery and I LOVE the fabric designs picked out for the room. I cannot wait to go back and photograph the twins and their completed nursery in a few months!

I gotta share the unwavering love I have for Liz and her skills before I get to the fabulous photos of her family. Liz is a stylist at CoCo's Hair Salon on Thomasville Road and one of the best things that ever happened to my hair. Liz's expertise and formal education offers more than the typical stylist and her eye for hair color is simply unbelievable.  Liz's sparkling personality can make anyone feel like they have known her for years and spending time in her chair is like spending time with an old friend. Now on to our photo sessions...

Like I mentioned above, Liz is just amazing and full of personality! Her family is just as wonderful and energetic and we had a great time on the farm in Sopchoppy. The sun was crazy bright that day so the beginning of the session has a whimsical feel about it. Once we moved into to downtown Sopchoppy I had more control over the light (yes Doug, I controlled the light!! Haha!) and the session took on the classic touch most of my photo's have. It was a great day and I simply fell in love with her children!

Liz and Doug literally made my face hurt because they had me laughing so much!

This photograph is so simple but the emotional connection between father and daughter is beautiful.

She makes me wish I had a little girl of my own. Her sweet southern accent and bow is too adorable. When we would walk around she would hold my hand and chatter about and it just made my heart melt!

These two guys are so polite, funny, athletic  and personable. Liz is so blessed to call them hers sons!

Post session goofing off! I owe them each some time behind my camera so that they can take some pictures of their own! Don't let me forget next time Liz and tell them it will happen!
