Rachel {Maternity}

This maternity session was by far the closest I have ever come to shooting in the rain! I was fearful to cancel Rachel's session because I didn't know if we could reschedule before her baby came...so I was literally driving in the rain to get to the session. Willing it to stop must have worked because we had a good 40 minute break even though the clouds loomed over us threatening to break any moment!

Rachel was such a trooper, walking swiftly all around their gorgeous piece of property so that we could take advantage of the beautiful places on their land. The family picture below was actually taken in front of an old oak tree that they were married under. I love how the whole family looks like they are bursting with pride over the new little one before even meeting her. It was a great time, even when the rain chased us back inside!

Preston Family

Hearts entwined, Twenty fingers, twenty toes,two sweet babies with cheeks of rose. Born on the same day, two gifts from above,lives entwined, two babies to love. ~Author Unknown

This was the first time I have photographed a mama with twins and I was so in awe of Fran because she was so full of energy and so beautiful! Matt was awesome and just lit up talking about Fran and the twins. Oh, and it has to be said...I am so impressed with their home and all of the renovations being done before the babies come along. I know exactly what it is like to embark upon a huge project during pregnancy and applaud all that they are doing. It is going to look fantastic when it is completed. I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek in the nursery and I LOVE the fabric designs picked out for the room. I cannot wait to go back and photograph the twins and their completed nursery in a few months!

Baby Powell

Kimberly is so beautiful and her smile is contagious. I swear she makes you instantly feel a wave of calmness within her presence. All signs of a fabulous mom! Kimberly tugged her husband and oldest son along for her maternity session so we expanded to more of a family session within a maternity session. It was sweet, fun, and romantic!

Brandy Vance

This was the first baby belly I ever painted! Brandy found a pictures online that she loved and we recreated it with belly safe paint and make-up. Oh, and we laughed a lot...this is the closest I have ever been to another person's baby belly! It was so much fun!

Nisha

Nisha's maternity session was so awesome! We started with traditional maternity pictures in an urban setting with her family. Then the real fun came when I painted her belly and she dressed up to have some fun! I love these pictures!
