Christen & Cody {Part 1}

They met in high school and define the term "sweethearts". Both active in the FFA they share a love for horses and are full of southern charm. Christen was crowned Teen Miss Sneads in high school and Cody started driving semi's at the young age of 16. Yes, that is his beast in the pictures below! Together they are a picture of the true American dream. A traditional proposal was not what Cody had in mind when he wanted to ask Christen to be his wife. A surprise was in order and just happened to be on a mountain...on a train...in North Carolina!

It's not everyday a portrait and wedding photographer is able to shoot a big ole truck like this. This was only one small part of our day together but I had to share it right away. Stay tuned early next week for the second part of their engagement shoot!

Lori & Troy Wedding

Lori and Troy celebrated a marriage welded together by love, friendship, and support. Before the ceremony family and friends gathered with Lori, Troy and the wedding party outside of The Gregory House to start celebrations before the ceremony and the party never ceased. The air was filled with soft violin music that floated though the air among the sounds of children playing and adults laughing and telling old stories. It was amazing to see such a wonderful group gather together and celebrate a lifetime of love that Lori and Troy will have together.

Lori and Troy's wedding photography package included 3 hours of my time during which I was able to capture the highlights of their special day. For the most part I melted into the background and photographed the wedding as I watched it unfold. Here is a peek into their charming outdoor wedding...

Edwards Family

Amy and Matt seriously define the meaning of meant for one another. I loved our time spent together at our session and look forward to seeing them again one day! When we originally scheduled the session the weather was suppose to be warm...but nope, it was FREEZING! We managed to wrap the session up very quickly so that Baby J was not outside for too long. It was a wonderful session though and we laughed and caught up like we were old friends even though we had just met. They are truly wonderful people and are fabulous parents!
